Holidays!

why is it that every time i plan something it always ALWAYS buggers up!! this summer i wanted to go on holiday with friends, have a really wild time and make it a time to remember...but of course nothing came of it and now i'm stuck going on holiday with my parents again!! :(
someone suggest something pleeeeease!!
